Our work

What is it?

Astral Projections is the work of Sophie Kenny, a filmmaker and visual artist based in London. Our live liquid light shows are a love letter to the psychededelic light shows of the 1960s, using organic matter and hand-manipulated live liquids we create an ever-changing visual landscape that is completely unique to each performance. We strive to invoke a sense of wonder and transcendence in our audiences, taking them on a journey through the cosmos with our live audiovisual experience.

At the heart of our work is the beauty of impermanence; every show is a fleeting moment in time, washed away at the end like a sand mandala, a reminder of the ephemeral nature of all things.

WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS DO YOU DO?

We have been hired as Artists for Festivals, Weddings, Private Parties, Film Shoots, Editorial, Commercials and more. We have a multitude of skills in the team, with most of us working in the Film Industry alongside our work at Astral, bringing more knowledge to the table.
